From 1996 - Star Trek series (1 of 2)
I was part of Georgi La Forge's engineering team.
I was told to do something (what, I'm not so sure).
I turned around walking towards the lift.
I was stopped dead in my tracks by Commander Riker.
Commander Riker had somehow become a mute.
This upset him because on the TV series, Riker was a jazz trombonist.
He had somewhat an archaic method of communicating.
I think I asked him three questions.
First one I asked, a green light lit up for yes.
Second one I asked, a red light lit up for no.
A third one resulted in a horrible holler coming from Riker.
It was a "How dare you ask me an insensitive question-!?" holler.
I felt uncomfortable and left engineering with LaForge right then and there.
