May 2004 - Star Trek series (2 of 2)
I was on the sound stage.
I was the teleprompter.
All I was allowed to do was scan the lines.
On the stage, Captain Picard was having a breakdown.
It was part of the script.
It must have taken place after the "Generations" movie because he was still grieving his loss.
He started demanding that parts of bodies be jettisoned for some sort of punishment.
A finger was the first thing.
An arm.
A leg.
He then said "The dead" before he broke down crying.
I was in awe because the actor was doing a wonderful job acting.
It was strange, yes.
The fact that I was seeing the teleprompter, the cameras and some of the stage crew emphasized that it was on a stage.
Then it cut to a "computer graphics" screen where body parts and the dead was being jettisoned and floating upwards.
